This essential training for all designated safeguarding leads will refresh your knowledge of how to recognise and respond to concerns and disclosures of abuse. It outlines the statutory safeguarding responsibilities of schools and academies, including Ofsted expectations and recognised good practice.

Learning from serious case reviews is highlighted throughout the day with a particular focus on lessons learned for schools and academies. This course will leave you well placed to confidently manage safeguarding arrangements in an education setting and contribute effectively to the child protection process.

This training will include any updates from the new KCSIE guidelines due out in September 2019.
