New FGM Practice Guidance published
The Manchester Safeguarding Boards (MSB)Â have published Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Practice Guidance which is informed by the statutory guidance on FGM and other relevant MSB and agency policies and procedures, such as an operational guide for practitioners, with pathways through services and referral criteria.
The MSB FGM Practice Guidance April 2017 should be read alongside the GMSP procedures.

FGM Mandatory reporting duty & online training
From October 2015 there is a mandatory duty for Health and Social care professionals to report known cases of FGM in under 18s.
