Housing and Homelessness – advice for all
Manchester City Council and partners have produced some excellent booklets that give a step-by-step guide through housing options and provide information and advice to support individuals and families to stay in their home:

Are you homeless or at risk of becoming homeless?
If you are at risk of becoming homeless, by acting quickly agencies may be able to help you avoid it. Agencies can also help with general housing related advice or advice if you privately rent your home.
There are other support and advice services that can help you to understand your options – these include:
- Citizen’s Advice – for impartial advice and information about housing, benefits, debt, work and more visit their website at www.citizensadvicemanchester.org.uk
- Cheetham Hill Advice Centre – for local support with with housing, benefits, debt problems and more visit their website at cheethamadvice.org.uk
- Centrepoint – for help and support aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 visit their website at centrepoint.org.uk/youth-homelessness
