Trust Your Instinct
We work with Manchester people every day, so our Trust your instinct booklet aims to help you know what to say and do when
you see things are not going well.
Most people cope well most of the time with whatever life throws at them. However, occasionally things don’t go well and it is
important to notice the signs and find out if the person is getting help or needs help to get things going well again.
The earlier the help, the less likely things are to get worse, and the better things will be for the person, family and community.
Seeing a sign that something is seriously wrong and knowing what to do could actually prevent a tragedy.
The guide lists some things you could see that show things might not be going well for somebody, and it explains why it is
important to take notice and Trust your instinct
We also have posters for you to download and display.
Please contact the Business Unit if you want paper copies of the booklet or poster.
