Course Content
This full day interactive workshop is being delivered by Duncan Craig from Survivors Manchester. Participants will be presented with an insight into the impact of abuse, the barriers victims face and sign posting and referral information.

This course is aimed at multi-agency professionals who work with children and or their families in Manchester and who will use the learning from this course to cascade back to their teams or services.

Due to limited spaces on this course a maximum of two places will be allocated per organisation or service. Places will be allocated to ensure multi-agency representation and not on first come basis.

Course Aims
The course will aim to provide delegates with an insight and working knowledge of the issue of sexual abuse of boys and men; whilst increasing individuals confidence in talking about the issue and developing strategies that will aid the male survivor in his healing journey.

Participants are presented with a number of real life case studies from individual males that have given expressed permission to be identified and have their experiences used for the purposes of increasing awareness and promoting services.

The interactive workshop uses lived experience, film and debate to help participants widen their thinking and reflect on not only their practice.
